Mawande Qeqe, is the first Mister Universe South Africa 2022 who will represent South Africa in the Republic of Panama in the 6th edition of Mister Universe International 2022.

Mawande, is a professional model who has already represented his country on an international stage. He is currently a student with a postgraduate diploma and honors in internal auditing and director of competitions for improvement and representation and management of models. He believes that opening his modeling agency with his partner Zola Mbusi was the best thing that could have happened to them as they started the company in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, where people were being laid off and others had no hope of making it out alive. the next year. I have shaped and motivated these kids by modeling at events. Mawande strongly believes in youth empowerment and tourism. His defense is mental health with the hashtag "Men cry." As someone who once suffered from major depression, he wants to use his voice to help and educate boys and young men.

In his spare time he is a true Seventh Adventist Christian who believes in the second coming of our Lord Savior. She likes to read, travel and lead a healthy lifestyle. He says he is super excited not only for being the first Mister Universe South Africa 2022 but also for being the first from his continent to be part of this prestigious international male beauty and cultural exchange event.

Mawande Qeqe, es el primer Mister Universe Sudáfrica 2022 que representará a Sudáfrica en la República de Panamá en la 6ta edición de Mister Universe International 2022.

Mawande, es un modelo profesional que ya representó a su país en un escenario internacional. Actualmente es estudiante con diploma de posgrado y honores en auditaría interna y director de concursos de perfeccionamiento y representación y gestión de modelos. Él cree que abrir su agencia de modelos con su socia Zola Mbusi fue lo mejor que les pudo haber pasado, ya que comenzaron la empresa en medio de la pandemia Covid-19, donde las personas estaban siendo despedidas y otras no tenían esperanza de llegar vivas al año siguiente. He moldeado y entrenado a estos niños modelando en eventos. Mawande cree firmemente en el empoderamiento de la juventud y el turismo. Su defensa es la salud mental con el hashtag "Los hombres lloran". Como alguien que alguna vez sufrió una depresión mayor, quiere usar su voz para ayudar y educar a los niños y hombres jóvenes.

En su tiempo libre es un verdadero cristiano séptimo adventista que cree en la segunda venida de nuestro Señor Salvador. Le gusta leer, viajar y llevar un estilo de vida saludable. Dice estar super emocionado no solo por ser el primer Mister Universe Sudáfrica 2022 si no también ser el primero de su continente en ser parte de este prestigioso evento de intercambio cultural y  belleza masculina internacional.

Mister Universe International 2023 reaches its 7th edition, a contest that began in 2015 in Nicaragua but went international in 2019 with the victory of Mexico.
